Champion Partners

On behalf of Champion Partners I would like to thank you for the outstanding product and service we received at our "Marley Project". We have found that your T.O.P.™ seal has saved Champion significant cost in sealing our engineered pads. In addition the temporary parking lot has become a durable cost-effective surface just as you assured my management team.

Champion Partners has always been dedicated to exceeding government regulations/mandates, and providing a harmonious work environment for surrounding neighbors; the efforts of the staff from Enssolutions have enabled us to enhance this trend. We look forward to a long standing working relationship with Enssolutions.

Sincerely,

Ricky Lyons

The product applied to the Projects temporary roads and in particular our primary subcontractor entrance roadway worked just as you indictated. Your crews did an excellent and timely job of applying it to suit our schedule needs.

We have been able to cut back on our watering of the temporary roads on the project, significantly without impacting our dust control. Also, the new surface is easy to maintain. If we had applied the product earlier on the project, our results would have no doubt been even better.

Sincerely,

Ray Hudock

We have been using Tall Oil Pitch emulsion as a stockpile sealant for our winter salt for the past 7 years. The product not only prevents wind loss, it also provides a water proof sealant to keep salt dry and prevent leaching of calcium into the water. In 2006 we tried Tall Oil Pitch emulsion on 30,000 m2 of new shoulder work and were pleased with the results. Reduced washouts (therefore reduced grading and maintenance), stabilization of the shoulders and roundings and visually pleasing in appearance as it keeps the granular natural looking. We continued in 2007 and beyond to specify the emulsion on all new shouldering work. We might add that it is very cost effective when compared to other emulsions in use for granular sealing

Sincerely,

Totten Sims Hubicki Associates (1997) Limited

We were introduced to Tall Oil Pitch emulsion as a granular sealant in 2005 when we were having an erosion problem with shoulders on Sawmill Road in St. Catharines. The emulsion was used on open shoulders and around guard rails. To this date (November 2007), the granular is still intact with no maintenance required. In 2006 we began to specify Tall Oil Pitch emulsion to be used on all new shoulder work that we were writing up for the Region of Niagara. The product performs well, reduces maintenance costs and its environmental friendliness is a key in the region's responsibility.

Sincerely,
Alan Clements

407 ETR Concession Co. Ltd.

407 ETR has been working with Tall Oil Pitch (TOP) emulsions in various maintenance applications such as slope stabilization since 2001. 407 ETR has now standardized the use of TOP emulsion for granular sealing in place of the previously used asphalt emulsions. We find the emulsion particularly effective in preventing erosion around guide rail posts and shoulder roundings and this has shown to reduce the cost of shoulder maintenance. A recent inspection of the widening project between 401 and 410 shows that virtually no erosion of the shoulder has occurred since the emulsion was applied.

Sincerely,
Dan Guistini
Manager, Construction Operations

Region of Niagara

We are pleased to endorse an alternative product to conventional granular sealants that is environmental friendly and cost effective. The Niagara Region has been working with Tall Oil Pitch emulsions since 2005. Our initial trial with this product was with erosion control on standard shoulders in the St. Catharines area. The success of our initial trial prompted the Region to call for the sealant to be used in 2006 on Wilhelm Road, in the municipality of Port Colborne, where the shoulder is narrow and the roundings are steep (1:1). With the success on sealing the shoulders on Wilhelm Road, we have now standardized the use of Tall Oil Pitch emulsions as a replacement for any previous method for granular sealing. To date, the sealant appears to be an effective way in preventing erosion on granular shoulders/rounding area and has resulted in reduced maintenance (i.e. treated shoulders are still in place after (2) two-years with no maintenance requirements).

Sincerely,
John Rizzo, C.E.T.

Red Hill Valley Project

In 2005 we were presented with Tall Oil Pitch Emulsion for use as a granular sealant and surface stabilizer. Successful trials were undertaken on various granular ramps during the grading of the Red Hill Valley Parkway (RHVP).  Subsequently, the product was specific on the RHVP mainline paving contract as the granular sealing item.

Our decision to use this product was based on the following:
  • An environmentally friendly product was very important to us given the sensitivity and environmental concerns on the Red Hill Valley project;
  • Run off into the Red Hill Creek is not an issue since the product does not leach;
  • It is aesthetically pleasing, i.e. there is no glaring visual stain after it has been applied;
  • Easy to maintain – additional emulsion was easily applied to areas that were disturbed by various subcontractors for sigh and guiderail post installation;
  • It is cost effective compared to other emulsions;
  • It works – there is no erosion or washouts after heavy rains.
We will continue to specify Tall Oil Pitch Emulsions on City of Hamilton projects.

Sincerely,
Marco Oddi, P.Eng.

I just wanted to send you and your staff a quick thank you for a job well done. The
renovation of the golf cart paths recently completed at Desert Mirage Golf Course looks
great and enhances the integrity of the golf course.

By using the natural materials, we were able to obtain a durable, cost effective cart path
that looks natural and blends with the native architecture of the golf course. Your quality
workmanship places Desert Mirage Golf Course ahead of the competition. Your efforts
will likely increase the speed of play by encouraging golfers to use the cart paths, reduce
the heat that typically radiates from the harder concrete or asphalt surfaces, encourage
golfers to use golf carts, and reduce damage to the golf course by keeping golf cart traffic
on the paths, thus lowering golf course maintenance costs.

It is obvious Enssolutions has highly skilled, experienced staff that believe in and care
about the end product. Your efforts have developed a long lasting relationship with us
and we look forward to working with you in the future.

Sincerely,

Michael Gregory

Thank you so much for the opportunity to try your product. We found that it is working very well. The surface of the area your product was applied to consists of a combination of media such as asphalt, grave, loose and compacted dirt. This area experiences a large amount of different forms of traffic, with fork lifts, trucks and heavy equipment being transported across it. We have found the reduction in dust very favorable.

We will continue recommending your product to others. We believe that your product holds potential for many other types of applications and that it is an excellent and cost effective alternative to paving. We hope the City of Phoenix and Maricopa County will accept your product as an alternative to paving.

We are looking forward to receiving the quote for the remainder of our yard.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or if I can be of any assistance.

Sincerely,
